I lived here a while back for a couple of years. It's taken me a long time to review this place because of how traumatic it was. When I first moved in, I was in a time sensitive situation and it took them two weeks to let me know if I was approved. Finally - I got in and there were some things like being told laundry was free to use then seeing it was billed into rent and even though I hardly ever used the laundry they wouldn't take the laundry charge off my rent. There was really inappropriate graffiti on the walls in there and anyone could walk in and do laundry because the locks were always broken. I went through foot surgery here and had to crawl up to the third floor to get to my unit every day, and they let anyone park in the handicap spot, so I had to FIGHT for it when I couldn't walk. I asked them for help with accommodations and it took them so long to get back it was too late for help. I witnessed men selling guns in the back of their cars and was constantly calling security (i called the PD for the gun situation) because of fights breaking out in the yards and literal children smoking cigarettes and dumpster diving. Finally I had to move out before my lease ended because I was being abused by my partner at the time, and even though I had records of all the abuse, the manager chose not to believe me and actually gave me a very hard time while offering my abusive partner legal advice to try to take me to court. I had to leave while he was at work to escape the situation because it was so unsafe for me to be there. I took my evidence to court for domestic abuse and won the case, which makes it even more insane management took the route they did with my situation. There's dog poop everywhere, it smells in the hallways, and submitting maintenence requests didn't do anything to help when I had issues. I had to track down employees in person to get help and even then I didn't always have luck. Another time there was an older lady screaming for help because she got stuck on her balcony (door was jammed) and left her stove on, and when I ran for help the office was on lunch and when I got ahold of them, they did nothing to help. It was the residents that took care of it. This place is a dump, safety hazard, and not worth the money. The amount of times I worried about my safety was so traumatizing. (I don't need a fluffed up reply from this business explaining how they take these things seriously because I KNOW they don't)
